If you’re longing to reconnect with your creativity but feel exhausted all the time…

If your imposter syndrome is kicking up because you haven’t been hitting your own self-imposed deadlines on your creative projects…

If you’re feeling lonely or isolated in your creative struggles…

I hear you. I’ve been there. I get it.

And if you’ve tried all the productivity tools but still find yourself struggling to stay engaged,

if you keep testing out new accountability efforts that fizzle out quickly,

if you’re feeling like you’re the only person who can’t find joy in their art or finish a damn project,

you’re in the right place — and you’re not alone.

This isn’t about hitting some deadline or word count or sales goal — this is about coming alive again.

This is about reconnecting with the parts of you that have gotten small and scared, and letting them take up real space.

And this is about using your magic, your spiritual tools, your rituals and spells, to do it.

Now, perhaps more than ever, the world needs your art. But you also need your art.

My wife Meg Jones Wall and I want to offer you a chance to reconnect with your creativity in community, with gentleness and compassion, and without pressure or guilt. We want to help you rebuild your relationship with your creativity.

And we want to witness you and celebrate you, to share in your magic, to encourage you to keep going.

This is The Grove, and you’re invited.

Okay, but what is The Grove?

tl;dr it is a six-month experience devoted to creative devotion with like-hearted folks. This cohort begins on March 1st at 2pm Eastern and will run from March-August 2026. Every month is organized around a different theme. Within that theme, we will have check-ins that you can opt into every week:

  • A live, 2-3 hour beginning-of-month intention setting & guided meditation

    • on the first of every month, at 2pm eastern

  • One live, mid-month check-in call for conversation & coming back to center

    • on the fifteenth of every month, at 2pm eastern

  • One recorded conversation between Jeanna and Meg, which may also include suggested spells or tarot spreads, to be explored on your own time, at your own leisure

  • A private Discord community/server, moderated by us, open 24/7

The Grove is the interdisciplinary, spiritually eclectic community and coven my wife Meg and I wanted years ago. (Very much, make the thing you needed!)

We are, both of us, ex-evangelicals who took years to slowly inch our way toward an animistically-informed witchcraft. Because of our backgrounds, we tend to be skeptical of groups, of hierarchies, of grifter-laden occult spaces. And even when you can get an inclusive, eclectic group of spiritually-oriented witches, weirdos, and magicians together, there is the question of what else you have in common, aside from the woo woo stuff!

The Grove’s answer is to center art, writing, and creativity. Creative practice, and its interconnectedness with spiritual life, is the core of my own life’s work. Meg and I are both traditionally published authors of practical and narrative nonfiction. Additionally, I write fiction, and Meg used to work as a photographer. And the first two cohorts of The Grove had everything — writers across every genre (including fanfiction!), social media content creators, photographers, graphic artists, dancers, choreographers, musicians. You name it, someone in The Grove either does it or did it at one point in time!

Whether you’re a working artist or someone looking to reconnect with creativity after decades away, this space is gentle, supportive, and exploration-focused. We don’t prioritize word counts, deadlines, or using this space to “finish” anything in the traditional sense.

The goal is devotion, and devotion is not something you achieve, but rather, something you live.

This is born out in how we organize our monthly themes — not around creative production, but around mindfulness and connection, with each other and with the world around us.

For Spring/Summer 2026, our activities, conversations, and rituals organized around a seasonal weather theme as it pertains to animistic spiritual and creative practices:

  • March 2026/Month 1: The Great Thaw

  • April 2026/Month 2: Spring Rain

  • May 2026/Month 3: Morning Dew

  • June 2026/Month 4: Steady Sunshine

  • July 2026/Month 5: Heat Wave

  • August 2026/Month 6: Summer Thunderstorms

Our live sessions are juicy and generative, filled with journaling prompts, questions to explore, and opportunities to share where you’re at, what you need, and whatever questions or ideas are bubbling up. They are full of laughter and not infrequently tears (of the best kind); they are nourishing, joyful, and help us all return to center in the midst of a burning world. In case you can’t make it live, these sessions are recorded and available for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Month by month, you’ll:

  • renew your relationship with your own creative spirit and with the ongoing practices that support you

  • expand your own capacity for imagination

  • ground more deeply into spiritual tools and rituals, especially through astrology and tarot

  • connect with other artists who share your values

  • come alive again — through your art, and through your magic

And we’ll be with you every step of the way.

Here’s some more of what past participants have shared about their experience,

My dad died a couple months into The Grove, and I know without a doubt that being in this community helped me stay connected to my heart and hope during a very difficult time. And I also know that because I went on that side quest, I was able to begin to build a solid connection to my spiritual and creative practices that do not have to be tied to ‘work.’ — Marika

I come to the end of this year [in The Grove] feeling so much more grounded in my own skin. This year has seen phenomenal changes in my life, and my growth in this community has been a huge part of me being able to meet those challenges in a way I feel good about. — Bridget

I’m super shy and don’t usually talk at all, and The Grove has been a safe space to practice speaking up more. Now I’m sharing work in a writing workshop! — K.
